Styled in classic utility jacket fashion with a traditional foldover collar, button-front construction, large patch pockets on the chest and hips, unlined inner, and a middle seam to the back of the garment. 

Crafted using Fox Brothers' prestigious cloth, our take on the casual and timeless utility jacket, has since become one of our signature pieces. A true go-to staple as part of an effortlessly stylish wardrobe.   

Elevated through subtle details, with an unlined inner to be in keeping with its traditional roots. This jacket blends utility style with modern flair, in order to add a touch of nostalgia to the time-honoured utility jacket.

Presented in a navy colourway, The Merchant Fox Utility Jackets have been inspired by shades of historic buildings and rustic countryside, ranging from wooden beam constructions to elegant corner cupboards. The palette includes historic colours of eighteenth and nineteenth century Britain, with earthy like pigments associated with faculty buildings and farmland, all purposefully chosen to create an enriching garment full of historical character.       

The piece features a revamped fit from that of its predecessor, making it more true to size for the modern-day man. 

Sizing note

This jacket was created using one of our original blocks. As a result, the fit is intentionally neater through the body and shoulders. If you are familiar with our more recent styles, you may find this comes up slightly smaller. For example, a Medium wears closer to a Small. We recommend referring to the size chart before ordering.
